Mr. E. L. Cullen, M.P.
TOUR OF CONSTITUENCY. HASTINGS, July 15. Another of his periodical visits of tho northern portions of his constituency was embarked upon to-day by Mr. E. L. Cullen, M.P. This evening he will meet a number of settlers at Tuai and to-morrow will proceed to Waikaremoana and later to Frasertown and Marumaru, meeting settlers en route to discuss any particular problems they may have. Mr. Cullen will return to Hastings on Saturday afternoon, but will leave • again on Monday for Morrinsville and Ruatoki, in the Bay of Plenty, in continuation of his investigations into native housing. He expects to return the following Friday. Waipawa News From Our Own fori. > WAIPAWA, July 15. Miss N. Jull. of Waipawa, is at pre.ent a patient in the private hospital it Waipukurau. Mr. E: Watts and Misses Gray, McDonald and McConnon, of the staff of the Waipawa District High School, will attend the New Zealand Education Fellowship Conference for the Wellington, Hawke's Bay and Wanganui districts, which will open at Wellington next week. Miss Betty Kingston, who lms i n on a visit to Hastings, has returned to Waipawa.
