From Our Own Correspondent. Young Farmers' Club. The monthly meeting of the Young Farmers’ Club was held on Monday evening. The chairman, Mr T. Wall, presided o\er a good attendance. It was decided that at each meeting two members to b« selected should speak for five minutes on a subject connected with farming. Three of the club members signified their intention of attending the educational week at Palmerston North in July. At the conclusion of the meeting Mr C. J. Hamblyn, of the Department of Agriculture, gave an Instructive address on the value of seed* used on the farm. A vote of thanks was accorded the speaker. Supper was served by the stewards, Messrs 1. Fraser and R. Buchanan. Personal. Mrs A. P. McCool, of “Hall Block,’ Wocdville, is spending a few days wltk her mother, Mrs P. J. Small. Mr and Mrs G. Burmeister have returned home after motor tour of the North. Mr and Mrs M. Burmeister. Mr and Mrs G. Bacon and Miss E. Burmeister have returned home. Miss Freda Eglinton is spending a holiday with her aunt in Wellington.
