The Federal Grand Jury has indicted 65 peraons, including 13 women, allegedly the largest and most elaborate diamond smuggling ring that ever operated in the United States on charges of having brought in 13,000,000 dollars’ worth of gems illicitly during the past seven years. Many of those indicted are residents of Antwerp, Antwerp being the ostensible centre of activities.
