Old Boys Versus Feilding As Rugby Attraction
SCHEDULED SATURDAY FIXTURES Patrons of the senior matches in the Manawatu Rugby Union’s competitions tomorrow (Saturday) should find much of interest in the fixtures. On the oval at the Showgrounds Old Boys and Feilding will be opposed, and the match should be of a high standard. Feilding went well on their home ground only recently and with the Old Boys side as the opposition, playing the bright, open type of game, there should be a very entertaining contest. At Feilding, the Feilding Old Boys and Massey College teams "will be in opposition. Massey College are now really “finding their feet," and Feilding Old Doys may be expected to fulfill all expectations as to the type of play wished for. The third match will be between St. Patrick's and Woodville, on the ground at the rear of the Showground grandstant. St. Patrick’s havo a fine side, but the Woodville players have a reputation for tenacify and should go well. The cur-tain-raiser at the Showgrounds will bo between the Palmerston North High School teams in tho third grade, and the match should be an excellent prelude to tho main fixture.
