Airman’s Resignation
A CORRECTION. In our issue of April 6th we publish ed a Press Association message sug gesting that Mr. H. F. Broadbent had resigned from air piloting because he was required to get through despite the weather. Wo now wish to state publicly that Mr. Broadbent did not givo the dangers of airline piloting, or that he was required to get through despite the Weather, as the reason for his resignation, but it was solely due to his desire to fly solo to England in an attempt on tho existing record that he resigned. Accordingly, we wish to apologise frankly to Mr. Broadbent for the erroneous impression the article created.
