When the progress of the King George V. National Memorial Fund was under discussion at a meeting of the Auckland CPy Council last week, Sir George Richardson said that there still seemed to be an impression in seme of tee country districts that the children’s health camps which it was proposed to establish with the money would be for the benefit of city children only. He pointed out that it was the intention of tho Government that these camps should bo available to all children needing rest treatment, whether from the city or rural districts. He mentioned that of the 800 children already accommodated at the Community Sunshine Association’s Camp at Motuihi Island this year, over 400 were from country districts
