REPORTED PURCHASE OF ANOTHER PROPERTY Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. At a price believed to be about £909 i foot the Bank of New South Wales is reported to have purchased a property in Queen street next to the Auckland Savings Bank. Following its recent purchase of the two adjoining Queen street propertes as a site for the erection of a large bank building, its latest transaction is further evidence of the intensification of banking activity and is interpreted in some quarters a 3 representing the intention to extend the forms of business in which it now operates. When approached on the question, Mr. N. H. Packer, acting manager in Auckland, would neither deny nor the purchase.
