The attendance was good and the totaiisator handled £13,815 10s, as against £10,741 10s, the increase being £3074. The total for the meeting was £24,312 10s, as against £IB,OOO 10s, the increase being £6312. The track became heavy. Wino and Araboa were leading when the straight was reached, the former winning by a length from Royal Gallant, who stayed on to beat Araboa by half a length. Rebel Chief was fourth. Double Gift led from Invoice, Grey Honour and Silver Lark to tho straight. Silver Lark looked to be in front at the distance, but Grey Honour finished well to win by half a length from Silver Lark, who was a neck in front of Invoice. Double Gift was well up fourth.
