From Our Own Correspondent. Personal. Messrs F. R. Ebbett and W. Ebbett are spending a short holiday renewing old acquaintances here. Mrs A. Sowry is staying with Mrs H. Sowry. A northern visitor staying at “Rose Farm” is Mr Roy Sowry. Mesdames C. Buchanan, D. Buchanan, and Ansen are guests of Mrs W. Sowry. Mrs C. Morris, Dannevirke. was a guest of Mrs Spencer Holdaway last week. Mr and Mrs W. H. Phillip were guests during last week of Mr and Mrs Hoggard. Mr and Mrs A. Eddie aro visiting relatives in the district, Mrs J. Cuff is staying with Miss R. Groves. < Guests of Mrs W. F. Day last week were Mr and Mrs A. McLeavey, of Te Horo. Mr 11. Winstone, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs M. Sargsnt. Mrs C. Ebbett is tho guest of her son, Mr F. C. Ebbett and Mrs Ebbett. Mrs R. Dyer is on a short visit to Mrs Sonitag. A slight earth tremor was felt about 9 p.m. on Thursday, and a second, of slightly more vigour, at about 6 a.m. on Friday morning. Another way to save money is to have a privato budget.
