Miss Grace Buchanan, of “Mayfield," Cunninghams, is leaving tomorrow for a long stay in Great Britain and on the Continent. Miss Jessie Mclndoe, Auckland, is visiting Feilding for . the Marsh-ihnch wedding this week and is the guest of her aunt, Mrs F. Finch, South street. Mrs R. Carter, “Rosehill," Sandon road, Feilding, has as her guests Mrs Claud Henry and her daughters, Misses Endora and Frances Henry, of Silverstream, Wellington. The many friends of Miss D. Adsett, Warwick street, Feilding, will be pleased to learn she is home again after an operation performed recently at Maitland Hospital, Palmerston North. Ladies will be guests of honour at next week’s luncheon of the Palmerston North Rotary Club, and the address will be given by a lady on a subject of interest to both men and women. At the Palmerston North Rotary Club’s luncheon yesterday, the chairman, Rotarian G. G. Priest, referred to the loss sustained by Mr. J. Ireland, a former vice-president, In the death of his wife. A motion of sympathy was carried in silence. Mrs T. Richardson and her daughter Patricia, of England, who have spent the summer with the former’s mother, Mrs C. J. Hill, Marlborough street, Feilding, and havo paid visits to various places of interest in the North Island, are leaving this week on their return journey homo.
