A return tennis match was played on the Milson courts on Saturday afternoon between teams from th© Te Arakura and Allison clubs,'Milson proving the winners after some very interesting games. Te Arakura supplied afternoon tea. Following aro the detailed scores. Alilson players being mentioned first:— Alen’s Doubles: Alorine and Gilbert beat Lewer and Sorenson 6—5. Taylor and Cuming beat Johnston and Hume G—3, Combined Doubles: Airs Rasmussen and Gilbert lost to Aliss Bennett and Sorensen s—-6, Miss Johansen and Alorine beat Airs Haythorne and Lewer 6—5, Airs Johansen and Taylor beat Airs Johnson and Johnson 6—2, Airs Cummings and Cummings beat Miss Humo and Hume 6—2. Ladies’ Singles: Mrs Rasmussen beat Miss Bennett 6—5, Alias Johansen beat Mrs Haythorne 6—l, Airs Johansen beat Airs Johnson 6—5, Airs Taylor beat Miss Humo 6—3. Alilson: 15 sets, 97 games; Te Aragura: 2 sets 57 games. Persona?. Air E. Johansen, of Putaruru, is at present visiting his parents at Carlisle street. Airs Halning, of Wanganui, was a visitor to Milson during the past week. Latest report from hospital is that Air A. Payne is progressing favourably. Jt is regretted that -his small daughter had to enter that institution on Friday night. It is also regretted that the small daughter of Air E. Bulmer had to enter hospital on the same evening.
