New Zealand-born Surgeon

DEATH OF MR. C. C. CHOYCE. LONDON, April 4. The death has occurred of Mr. Charles Coley Choyce, C.M.G., C.8.E., M.D. (Edin.), B.Sc., F.R.C.S. (Eng land), consulting surgeon to University College Hospital and the Seamen’s Hospital, Greenwich. He was born in Auckland, New Zealand.

Mr. Choyce was a son of Mr. H. C. Choyce, of Auckland. He was born there in 1875 and educated in the University of New Zealand at the University of Edinburgh. He was formerly professor of surgery, University of London, and examiner in surgery to the London, Durham and Bristol Universities. He was Iso formerly surgeon to the Royal Northern Central Hospital, consulting surgeon to the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, and to the Convalescent Hospital for Officers, Osborne.
