Aged Woman Dies of Injuries
HUSBAND RETURNED TO MENTAL HOSPITAL Ter Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. Severe head injuries as the result of an alleged attack caused the death in the Auckland iLuspital late this afternoon of Mrs. Mary Gage-Brown. She was aged 87 and a resident of Epsom. It is alleged Mrs. Gage-Brown was attacked at lier home yesterday morning and that the injuries were inflicted to her head with a four-pound scale weight. It is stated that Mrs. Gage-Brown's husband was discharged from a mental' hospital only three weeks ago, his wile giving an undertaking that she would not hold the authorities responsible for anything that might happen in the future.
After the woman had been attacked she was rushed to the Auckland Hosoital and her husband was taken back to the mental hospital,
