BIG PRICES FOR YEARLINGS United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph.-—Copyright. Received Thursday, 10.30 p.m. SYDNEY, April 1. At the yearling sales to-day three colts by the imported Foxearth brought 2075 guineas. The Victorian trainer, P. Quinlan, paid 11.00 gns. for one out of Bambina. The top price of 1800 gns. was realised for the Elderslie Stud for Brother Homer, by Iliad out of Quadrilateral, the buyer being John Spencer Brunton. A colt by Melfort was secured by J. Scobie for 1360 gns. Two other Molforts fetched respectively 1550 and 1000 gns., the buyers being C. Quinlan and W. Devin. J. Holt secured a Homeric—Goldmast colt for 1000 gns. Five Heroics made 3725 gns. and averaged 745 gn3. Elderslie Stud Iliad colts fetched respectively 1800 and 700 gns., while a Nightraid—Lytup colt brought 400 gns. New Zealand buyers purchased the following: A Brazen—Vioweela colt, Dr. Ring, 160 gns.; a Fernakloof—Cool Courage colt, T. George, 70 gns.; a Salmagundi—Love Lake colt, T. George, 100 gns.; a Buoyant Bachelor—Lerrija colt, Wright, Stevenson and Co., Ltd.,
200 gns. A group of four Veilmoml filles ranged from SO to 400 gns.
