350,000 Dollars for Title Fight in Berlin
SCHMELING’S OFFER TO BRADDOCK. United Pres* Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Tuesday, 2 a.m. NEW YORK, March 22. Schmeling has offered Braddock a 350,000-dollar guarantee for a title fight in Berlin in June. Mr. Gould demanded 400,000 dollars. Schmeling plans to pay Madison Square Garden 50,000 dollars to release the contract if he comes to terms with Braddock.
