Boy Electrocuted Through Touching Live Wire

TRAGEDY AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. Through touching a live wire William Allen Riding, aged nine, wag electrocuted at his parents’ home in Vogeltown to-night. The boy and his father were working on the roof of a shed above which a live’wire ran. The father left the roof for a moment after warning the boy not to touch the wire but when he returned the boy was clutching the wire and gasping. Mr. Riding dashed into the house and switched off the current but on returning found the boy on the ground dead.
