ANNUAL MATCH WITH GISBORNE. From Our Own Correspondent;. NAPIER, March 22. A ten-wicket victory was scored by tho Napier High School in its twentieth annual cricket match with the Gisborne High School, concluded on the Napier grounds on Saturday. The end of Gisborne’s second innings found them only 80 runs ahead of the Napier first innjngs total, and the required runs were added by Fox and Bickerstaff without loss for Napier. Consistent bowling by Dean and Josephs saw the Gisborne side all out in the second innings for 93 runs. Smiler and Allen were the most successful batsmen, the former remaining at the crease for some time, scoring slowly, in an endeavour to stem the tide. Fox and Bickerstaff opened confidently, the latter scoring more freely at first, but both showed a complete control of the bowling. Thby did not hesitate to hit out and topped the Gisborne score undefeated.
