Feilding Municipal Band
The matter of finding employment for tho new conductor of tho Feilding Municipal Band whose application for the position has been tentatively accepted, was raised before Thursday’s meeting of tho Feilding Borough Council w'hcn a deputation from tho band committee asked the council to lind the man a position. Tho deputation comprised Messrs E. A. Garlick, W. H. Clayton, A. Wood, W. Wilkinson, junr., and F. Kendall.
After the facts had been placed before the council and several questions answered, it was resolved to refer the question to the works and reserves committee with a recommendation that a ppsition be found for the new conductor if possible.
