This week Otaki Methodists ar* commemorating fifty years of Methodist activities in Otaki and district, and on Tuesday evening a jubilee banquet was held which was attended by among others, the ministers of sister churches in Otaki, and neighbouring ministers, as well as by representative citizens, including Brigadier-General Young, the official nominee of the Otaki Borough Council. A series of toasts were honoured, interspersed with musical and elocutionary items. Many congratulatory messages were received from former ministers and church members now resident elsewhere.
