Empire Boxing Title
FARR BEATS FOORD ON POINTS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, March 15. The Welshman Tommy Farr outpointed tho title-holder Ben Foord (.South Africa) at the Harringay Stadium for the Empire and British heavyweight boxing championship. Farr will thus meet Alax Baer (America) on April 15. Joe Louis is reported to be coming to England in July to meet the winner of the present heavyweight scries. Foord won the British and Empire titles last year when he beat Jacl Petersen.
