Sister E. Worn, of Wilson I war! lias been appointed to succeed Sister W. E. Grey as night superintendent at the Palmerston North Public Hospital. She will commence her new duties in the near future.
Sister W. E. Grey, who has resigned the position of night superintendent at the Palinerstou North Hospital, concluded her duties this morning. Last Thursday she was the guest at two fare well functions arranged in her honour. The first was in the afternoon whbn the nurses engaged on night work enter tained her to afternoon tea at Messrs. C. M. Ross Company's tea-rooms. On behalf of the nurses Staff Nurse P. Lawson presented Miss Grey with an exquisite bouquet. In the evening she was met by the sisters at the Nurses Home and Sister Banks as an expres sion of goodwill and best wishes from tnose present handed Miss Grey a piece of pyrex ware. Miss Grey leaves by train to-day for Wellington afnd the fcJouth Island on holiday.
