Trouble at Railway Station
MAN ARRESTED BY POLICE. (Special to “Times.”) LEVIN, Last Night. Arrested at the Levin railway station last night, William Alfred Rose, alias Carter, alias Scott, appeared iu court this morning charged with disorderly behaviour wfiile drunk. Mr. G. D. Hamilton, J.P., who was on tho bench, sentenced aim to one month’s imprisonment. Rose came to Levin in search of work, but his quest terminated yesterday when he apparently spent some time in a hotel. About 8.15 p.m. last evening he went on to the railway station and there became disorderly. Con-i stable Mcßae was communicated with and on his arrival found the station staff having difficulty in controlling Rose. He was immediately arrested and spent the night in the cells. He has a long list of previous convictions foi various offences.
