British Cabinet Annoyed With German Ambassador
DIPLOMATIC EXCHANGES PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. United Press Association—By Electric Received Thursday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, March 4. The News-Chronicle’s political correspondent says Herr von Ribbentrop’s speech at Leipzig has incensed thef British Cabinet and made normal diplomatic exchanges with him practically impossible. In a speech at Leipzig, Herr von Ribbentrop declared: “The hope is growing that appreciation abroad of the injustice done to Germany regarding colonies will result in the mandatory Powers making the gesture we expect and, «f Inch Germany has a right to demand. It is in the interests of all countries to remove the world-wide unrest created by this injustice. A remedy can be found either by returning Germany’s colonies or by Germany’s own strength.’’
