The series of secondary depressions continues to cross tho Dominion, while the pressure'remains low to the east and an intense anti-cyclone covers the southwest Tasman. Winds: South- westerlies or southerlies predominating, but veering at times to west or north-east at many places; force moderate to strong generally and still rising to a gale in some exposed positions. Se&s (New Zealand waters): Moderate to rather rough north of East Cape; elsewhere mainly rough. Eastern Tasman sea: Strong southwesterly winds, rising occasionally to gale force in places; seas rough. Weather: Still cool and changeable with rain at times in most districts. Hail and thunder still probable.
