Women of P.N. Join In Day of Prayer
In order to participate iu the United World Women’s Day qf Prayer a service, conducted by Mrs A. L. Mouat, was held in ,Bt. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday afternoon. There was a large attendance representative of various denominations the speaker being Rov. F. A. Crawshaw. A feature of the service was the reading of responses by the women in order that each might havo a definite part. Air Crawshaw gavo a most inspiring message from the last words Christ uttered while on earth: “But ye shall receive pardon, after that tho Holy Ghost has come upon you, and yo shalL bo Aly witnesses, in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Bainaria, and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.” Several hymns were sung, Mr. A. J. Graham presiding at the organ. An offering was taken, aud tho money wa; handed" to Mr Crawshaw, secretary for the Mission to Lepers, to be used in his mission work.
