On Sunday afternoon little Marion Galloway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Galloway, of Kiritaki, had the misfortune to fracture her left arm just abov.e tho wrist. She was playing in a cabbage tree with two companions when she slipped and fell. Medical ucfrTce was sought and the injured member set. Mrs. Carroll and her two sous, of Hastings, are spending holidays with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Gray, of Te Behunga. Mrs. Sherrard and family, of Feilding, are staying with Mrs. Sherrard’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Fraser, of .the Royal Oak Hotel at Weber. During the month of December the Dannevirke Borough Council issued 23 motor drivers’ licenses, bringing the total for the present licensing year to 613, the figures for the Dannevirke County Council being 24 and 1307 respectively.
