A comfortable win on the first innings gave the Napier Boys’ High School victory for the first time in sevoral years over Palmerston North m the annual inter-school erjeket-fixture. Napier won by 103 runs on the first innings, and narrowly missed an outright win for Palmerston North at the close of the day had only one wicket to fall and 88 runs wore required for a win. Napier made 197 in tho first innings and 79 in the ( second. Palmerston made 91 and 110. for nina wickets.
