£200,000 Gift to Leeds University

CADBURY’S GIVE £20,000 FOR OPEN SPACES. Received Wednesday, 9.0 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. S. Two benefactions are announced from the Midlands. Mr. Prank Parkinson, chairman of Crompton, Parkinson, Limited, has given £200,000 to the Leeds University for new buildings. The gift will be used to build a central block and will provide the main architectural feature of tlic university building scheme. In Birmingham an offer has been received from the firm of Cadbury to provide £20,000 towards the estimated cost of £34,000 for a scheme to provide opeu spaces in that city.
