From Our Own Correspondent Tennis Match. On Saturday the A team, represented by Alisses At. Vautier, E. Woodd, E. Vautier, Airs Oxenham, Alessrs S. Oxenham, F. Greene, W. Vautier and F\ Kensington, travelled to Bunnythorpe, where, after a most enjoyable day, they went down to the home team. The B team, at home, entertained a team from the Alanawatu Club, winning the day by nine sets to six. -Results, with visitors mentioned first, were: — Ladies’ singles.—Aliss J. Oliver beat Miss M. Sly, 7—2; Aliss R. Hitchens lost to J. Wood, I —7; Aliss E. Quigan lost to Miss M. Hodgson, I—7; Aliss A. Baker lost to Aliss H. Wood, o—7. Aten’s singles.—H. Todd beat F. Eaglo, 9 —c; M. Byers beat W. Lacey, 9—3; W. Robson beat H. Gore, 9—3: Turner beat I. Vautier, 9—l. Ladies’ doubles. —Alisses Oliver and Hutchins v. Alisses M. Sly and J. Wood, not played; Alisses Quigan and A. Baker lost to Alisses M. Hodgson and H. Wood, 3—7. Alen's doubles. —Todd and Byers lost to Eagle and Lacey, 10—12; Robson and Turner lost to Gore and Vautier, 7—9.
