Air France Mail Plane Lost in Atlantic
FAMOUS WAR ACE AND CREW OF FOUR. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Co pyrlgh t. Received Tuesday, 11.0 p.m. RIO DE JANIERO, Dec. 8. Jean Merrnoz, the famous French war ace, is believed to have been lost iu the South* Atlantic with a . crew of four in an Air France mail ’plane he was piloting from ' Dakar, Senegal, to Natal, Brazil. He left Dakar on Monday morning and has not been heard of since he was 240 miles out.
