Year Off the Road For Drunken Driver
Per Press Association. ELTHAM, Last Night. Argyle Drummond, a Wanganui business man with a family of live, was fined £lO by a Justice of the Peace in the Police Court to-day or being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car. His driving licence was cancelled for twelvo months and a prohibition order was issued for a similar period. The Bench said the fine would have been greater but for the fact that the accused's financial position did not warrant it. The police stated that tho case was a very bad one and had the accused not been arrested tho consequences might have been serious.
