Feilding Telephone Exchange
EAREWELL TO MISS M. OBEY.
On the occasion, of her retirement from the position of snpervisor of the Pending Telephone Exchange, Miss M. Grey ■was entertained by tho staff on Wednesday. Miss Grey, who is to be married shortly, was met by the staff with Mr J. B. Purcell (postmaster) in tho chair. In presenting her with an electric kettle, Mr Purcell eulogised her services as' a supervisor, stating that she had maintained a very high standard of efficiency. Miss Grey had won the esteem and goodwill of all and her position would be hard to fill. Mr Purcell concluded by wishing the guest al happiness for the future. Miss Grey returned thanks for the expressions of- goodwill and said that she had been, most happy during the twelve months she had been in Feilding.
