Feilding Schools Amateur Athletics

FREPARING FOR ANNUAL SPOK'io.

Tho committee of tho Feilding distract Amateur Athletic Association met on Wednesday evening, Mr. A. K. (president) presiding. Tho programme of events for the next sports was adopted on the lines of last year. -Saturday, March 13, was fixed for the date of the next sports. It was decided to alter the line games so as to provide for the finishes to be seen by tho public. In an endeavour to give a better view of the track events it was decided to move the running tapes a chain out from the barrier, where the public stand.

Following a discussion no action was taken in regard to the recommendation that the relay race events be run on a straight course instead of on the circular track as in past years.

Various other matters incidental to the running of the sports were finalised.
