GOVERNMENT CAUCUS STUDIES PROBLEMS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Unemployment and housing were the main subjects of discussion at tho continued caucus of the Government party to-day. The Prime Minister said in an interview that the caucus had been a good one in every way. Valuablo information as to tho requirements of the various electorates throughout the Dominion had been given by members and Mr. J. A. Lee, Parliamentary Undersecretary to the Minister of Finance, had submitted a detailed report on the Government’s housing scheme. "Cabinet will give consideration to the question of developing new industries,’’ said Mr. tiavage, ‘‘with a view to providing work for those still unemployed. A committee of Cabinet has been appointed with other members of tho Government party to go, thoroughly into tho question of promoting new avenues of employment. Reports of members as to tho requirements of tho various districts will be submitted lo the Public Works Department for consideration of details and costs. ’ ’
