DE GANS BEATS RAINSFORI ON POINTS. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Last Night. Two professional contests were staged by the Southland Boxing Association in the Civic Theatre to-night. Tho main bout was between Roy do Gans (12.4) and Jack Rainsford (12.10) and was won by De Gans on points. Do Gans boxed cleverly throughout and displayed superior ringcraft. The other professional contest between Doug Eddington (9.12) of Timaru and Jack Keidy (9.12) of Inver- * cargili was won by Eddington after teu fast rounds of keen boxing.
