Mrs. Z. Stalker and Miss M. Wcstcott, of Feilding, have been spending a few days in Wellington.

Mrs. E. E. Short, of Feilding, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. W. Becdie, Dannevirke. Mr and Mrs T. Knight, of Eketahuna, have taken up their residence in Palmerston North. Mrs C. Browning, of Wellington, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Edwards, Church street. Well known in the Dominion both as a New Zealander and as an artist, the Hon. Mrs Ralph Vane arrived at Auckland on Thursday morning by tho Rangitata from London on a six months visit to the Dominion. She is travelling with Mr Lamorna Birch, R.A., and Mrs Birch on a painting tour. Mrs Vane, or R. Airini Vane, as she is known from her work, last visited New Zealand two years ago. Since then she has spent six months in South Africa.
