Sunday Pay for Railwaymen
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Under amendments to the regulations under the Railways Act, 1926, published in the Gazette to-night, Division 1 employees in the railways are to be granted extra payment for Sunday work, the rates ranging from 2s 3d per hour to 4s per hour. Other provisions under the new regulations provide for payment of travelling expenses, etc.
