PLEASANT BIRTHDAY VISIT. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Oct. 7. Still fairly sound in health and mentally alert, Mr. Philip Le Quesne, of Hamilton, is celebrating his 100th birthday to-day. He has been in the town over 70 years and is a well-known figure. One of his visitors to-day was Archbishop Averill, who is 71 to-day. Archbishop Averill’s visit is tho culmination of a promise made to Mr. Le Quesne ten years ago, when he stated that no matter where he was, if he was able, he would visit him on the occasion of his attaining liis century. Having been born in a caravan and lived in caravans all his life, William Penfold, of Dorset, who will celebrate his hundredth birthday iu December, attributes his longevity to tho open air. Ho hates houses and drinks a pint of beer and walks three miles a day. All his relatives are caravaners. v
