NEW ZEALAND AND DAVIS CUP Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. A meeting of tiho management committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association decidod to send an invitation to V. li. McGrath to compete in the New Zealand championship tournament. McGrath is tho present holder of the men’s singles title. lie is also to be asked whether he knows of any other leading Australian player who would make the trip. The secretary (Mr. 11. N. Burns) was asked lo draft a report ou the question of New Zealand entering for tho Davis Cup. The report is to be considered at the next qaurtevly meeting of the council.
