Loyal Manawatu Juvenile Lodge

The usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Manawatu Juvenile Lodge was held on Monday night, when the N.G. Sis. J. Leeks presided over a large attendance. The District Grand Master, Bro. I. J". Rodgers, and a number of adult members were also present. One new member was initiated into the lodge. Tho superintendent, Bro. C. V. Christiansen, extended a welcome to the District Grand Master and visitors. The installation of officers then took place, Sis. A. Johnson acting as installing officer. The following officers were installed:—N.G., Bro. P. Clark; V.G., Bro. A. O. Rodgers; 1.P.N.G.. Sis. J. Leeks; S.W., Bro. P. Clark; J.W., Bro. J'. Johnson; G., Sis. M. Christiansen; L.S., Sis. M. Buckley; S.W., Bro. L. Ward; J.W., Sis. M. Dawick; R.S.N.G., Bro, D. Summers; L.S.N.G., Bro. 11. Christiansen; Ii.S.V.G., Sis. T. Rees; L.S.V.U., Bro. G. Atkins. The .newlyinstalled officers were addressed by the D.M., Bro. I. J. Rodgers, Bro. Freeman and Bro. D. Dilks, 4 after which the superintendent installed Sis. A. Johnson as L.M., congratulating her on having passed through the chairs of tho lodge. After the closing of the lodge several items of recitation and tajJ-dancing were given by the juveniles after which supper was served by the committee.
