The production of a £195 aeroplane called the “Brawny” has been begun by a new company which claims that it is the cheapest owner-pilot machine ever built in Britain. It is a single-seater monoplane with a baby car engine and is capable of doing 35 to 40 miles to the gallon with a top speed of 80 miles per hour.
