Tho high position which has been occupied by the late Mr. Jv W. Eggintou, of Foxton Road, in the esteem of the residents of the district, and the deep regret aroused at his sudden passing at Levin on Friday afternoon, was expressed in the very large attendance at his funeral, which took place at the Levin Cemetery on Sunday afternoon.
