Burglary at Otaki

COMMUNITY STORES ENTERED.

LEVIN, Last Night.

Some time on Saturday night or early yesterday morning the back door of the Community Stores, Ltd., Otaki Railway, was forced open ly the aid of a jemmy, and some £8 worth of tobacco taken. Soap and creamoata were also taken, but the till, which cont'>'ncd a little money, was untouched.

Detective Bickerdike and Constable Shield and Constable Bowman are at present making enquiries. On the last occasion when the stores were broken into Constable Shields captured the culprits in the vicinity o. Palmerston North.
