Dalgoty and Company, report on their fortnightly salo held at Ashhurst on tho 2Sth instant, when an average yarding was offered to a good attendance. There was good competition for all lines submitted, and we have to report a total clearance at prices satisfactory to the vendor. Realisations were:—Sheep: Fat hoggets, 25s 3d; fat maiden ewes, 295, 3Us; b.f. hoggets, 20s; ewe hoggets, 365; forward ewes, 16s sd. Cattle: Springing heifers, £5 3s 6d to £S 2s 6d; inferior heifers, £2 12s 6d to £4 2s 6d; dairy cows, £1 to £5 ,10s; fat Jersey cows, £5 17s Od to £6 13s; l'at Jersey heifers, £3 to £6 17s Gd; store cows, 32s to £2 Is; Shorthorn steers, £3 19s to £6; 2 yr. Jersey bull, 6 gns. Pigs: AVeaners, 12s to 16s 6d.
