The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable, dated London 1/10, from its London office: —“Frozen lambs; although less demand owing to the high prices market firm and likely to remain so in view of reduced stocks, frozen mutton; market has advanced during last month and prices likely to be maintained limited supplies met with moderate demand with tho exception of light weight wethers which are not easy to sell. Frozen beef; limited supplies fair enquiries prices have advanced slightly, market steady.”
