STAMPS. The Dannevirke Post Office had an exceptionally busy day on Saturday with the sale of Chamber of Commerce Empire Conference stamps. Prior, who recently entered hospital for an acute appendicitis operation, will be pleased to know that he is on the road to recovery. OLD PUPILS’ ASSOCIATION. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year at the annual meeting of the Dannevirke High School Old Pupils’ Association: —Patron, Mr E. N. Hogben, M.A.; president, Mr E. J. MacDonald; vice-presidents, Mrs J. Dobson, Messrs N. M. Paulsen and C. J. Franklin; auditor, Miss J. Thorburu; secretary, Miss I. Bingham; committee, Messrs E. E. Kayner, P. Brandon, L. L. Vigers, K. Ayres, Misses M. Hill, J. Weblcy, P. Murcott and Mrs H. E. Young.
