TOURIST DEPARTMENT’S ENTERPRISE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night-. Primarily intended to supply useful information to tourists and other travellers visiting New Zealand but likely to prove equally valuable to New Zealand sportsmen and holidaymakers, a combined calendar of forthcoming events and a booklet of general information has been published by the Government Tourist and Publicity Department. It will appear six-monthly and will bo circulated not only within the Dominion but also among agents of New Zealand overseas and shipping companies and travel bureaus throughout the world. The list of forthcoming events covers tho whole summer from October 1 to March 30. The information section covers in a, series of brief notes travel accommodation, sporting facilities, Customs aud police regulations and many kindred subjects.
