Boy Falls From Hedge

ANOTHER HUNG UP IN BRANCHA little boy, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. George, of Eongotca, was injured on Friday afternoon when he fell from a tree on his father’s property. With his brothers and a number of other small boys the child was endeavouring to reach the top of a very high macrocarpa hedge when a branch broke suddenly and ho was thrown heavily to the ground. Although an examination disclosed no broken bones it was deemed advisable to order his immediate removal to the Public Hospital. His eldest brother narrowly escaped a like accident when a branch gave way beneath him and ho was left hanging* some 20 feet above the ground. From this predicament his mother was fortunately able to extricate him.
