Hollywood Has New Craze
ATHLETICS THE KEY TO .FILM FAME LONDON. Hollywood to-day is sports crazy. The passport to a chance there now is athletic ability. This was stated by Paul Schwegler, ■who has come to England to produce the new Douglas Fairbanks, jun., lilm, "High Treason." "Even the women are crazy about football,” he said. "You'll see the stars at all the matches and indeed at every athletic event. "Boxing, for example, is Mac West's passion. She goes every Friday night to watch a light. Another boxing enthusiast is Lupe Velez. ‘‘You know how interested the studios are in sport when I tell you that every Saturday afternoon they stop work to listen to the radio reports of matches, and then put in their work at night. "Practically every,studio has an association football or Rugby team."
