Popular Monthly Cabaret At Broadway Studio
Miss Gwen Gibbs’ studio presented an animated scene on Saturday evening, when the monthly cabaret attracted a largo crowd of dancers. The function was one of a series, which are being held the first Saturday of each month.
Miss Gibbs received her guests wearing a tunic gown of oyster silver thread deque, with a spray of orchids and silver fox fur. Assisting Miss Gibbs were Misses L. McAffer and Mr. Pegden. Miss McAffer ehoso a frock of green angel-skin crepe, while Miss Pegden wore a Prussian gown of beige and brown satin beaule.
The guests were happily entertained during the evening, the following items being presented: —“Trees,” a modern German interpretative group number by pupils of Miss Gibbs; “Cats,” comedy tap duo, Misses McAffer and Major; “Gentlemen, the King,” tap ballet, by B.S.D. ballet. A savoury supper was served and a delightful evening terminated at midnight.

Petre, Mrs. Layne, Mr. and Mrs. Grotian, Mr. and Mrs. 1. Webster, Misses Major, Mary McLean, Cutler, M. Clarke, B. Gillies, M. Mclvor, Messrs. Major, Mitchell, Chrystall, Davies, J. Eedwood and Moloney.
